G+_Josh Frye
You beat me to it lol. But this is a quote from the pc mag article about this: "That includes full seasons of 15 current primetime shows with episodes available the day after they air, and the ability to live-stream local CBS stations in 14 of the largest markets at launch. CBS said it would be adding more live streaming content as additional affiliates join the service." Just for that I want this.
G+_David Pick
Nobody has given me an answer yet. Does this new service from CBS offering their content with surround sound or stereo only like Hulu? The surround sound option is what could make this service worth while as Hulu down-converts all their content to stereo. If not, this fragmentation of services does not help the consumer. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Netflix, HBO Go, etc are all 5.1 this should be to.
G+_David Pick
Eng. Jorge Santana I feel the same way Santana. But a majority don't seem to care the audio is down converted as long as the picture is HD. Their seem to be allot of negativity for CBS new service. I'm only pointing out a feature if CBS offers it, could make it worth while over Hulu Plus.
G+_Josh Frye
Eng. Jorge Santana David Pick Even if this is just in stereo it would beat the way I have to watch content via the current CBS app or the website. But they have to have all of their shows online, even those weeks old, for me to pay. The live streaming events I really don't watch now, why would I live streaming. Right now, to watch content older than a couple of weeks, I know of websites I can watch that content. But that website is not always legal, I want a legal way to watch all of my content. G+_David Pick
Josh Frye I recommend you try Playlater with CBS free sight and Hulu. It allows you to DVR the streaming content and then be able to fast forward through the commercials. It makes watching the content far more enjoyable.
