G+_Tom Kudla
I notice that my KH450 (Alien X) rotates to the right on regular basis. I have tried adjusting the trim (yaw) on the FlySkly but it's still happening. When starting the quad, I notice motor #4 seems to "start up" a bit slower than the others. Not sure if that is a related or unexpected Any advice is greatly appreciated..
G+_610GARAGE
I would say that that motor is lazy. Are your connections good? You could try swapping parts to see if they are the culprit. Swap motor #4 with motor #3. If that doesn't work, swap esc. Also make sure your weight is evenly distributed, and that you calibrated your esc's. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Did you zero out your inputs with the subtrims? (Not the ones next to the sticks)... Did you calibrate the ACC's with the quad on a flat surface? Is motor rotation correct?
G+_Tom Kudla
Thank you. So I have used the sub-trim menu in the fly sky to zero out the readings on the KK. I used a level to check the surface on the initial ACC calibration but I will repeat (did this months ago). Motor rotation is correct. I will check the connections and parts to troubleshoot.
