G+_John Ross
Need screws for quadcopter blade. Hi I have a QuadForce Video Drone XCTOY-QVDRON (http://www.swann.com/us/xctoy-qvdron) which appears similar to the Syma X5C Explorers. I was just getting the hang of flying it this spring but now I need parts. Where should I look to get more machine screws to hold the blades to the quadcopter? They are very small about than 4 mm.long x .5 mm. diameter I tried using other screws from the frame but that did not go well..as the blade came off.. The spare blade sets don't mention including the screws. There isn't a hobby shop nearby and The Source (The new name for Radio Shack in Canada) doesn't have hardware like that anymore. G+_Jason Marsh
I've found small screws at my local Lowes, but haven't looked for anything as small as those prop screws, so I can't say for sure. You just may find that your local hardware store will have what you're looking for. Otherwise, you may need to ascertain the actual specs of the screws and order replacements online. G+_Brent Burzycki
So many nut bolt screw stores online.... Its just you might need to buy 1000 of them to get what you want...

G+_Larry Havenstein
Worst case you can order from Graingers. I would think you could call most of the bigger online RC Hobby shops and get them in a small package as Dubro used to sell small packs of screws like that. They may not be listed on their website. Do they list a repair parts kit for your quad on Amazon?

G+_John Ross
Harold Smith Thank you very much Harold. That Google search did the trick. Now I'm patiently waiting by the mail box for China Post to deliver the order here sometime in May... Bought more props too just in case... G+_John Ross
Wayne Hobbins Hi Wayne ,I already have more than a few loose screws at my age.. I have a driver kit with 57 small tips including. PH000 to PH2 (PH00 seems to be my prop's screw head size) and also something called Japanese Philips. I didn't realize that when the Phillips screw head torques out (strips) that was supposed to be a design feature. I ordered a screw set from China and will wait.
