I want to get into quad building. Where can I get started?

If you have never flown a quad before get something like hubsanx4 or symax5 and learn to fly with that. Rcgroups.com has tons of info and build threads. Be prepared to read a lot

Thanks I'll get one of those to get use to some of the basic components. I don't think Winter in Canada would be kind to a quad so I have around 6-7 months to learn how to build an outdoor quad.

The small quad will serve you well to learn. The hubsan is great for indoor flying you can go outside with it just with no wind outside. There are 250 quad kits that have all the electronics in one package on sites like banggood that seem pretty good for a first build
