With this week's episode talking about free cad software from autodesk I felt that it was a good time to mention that all autodesk software is free for students. It's not the easiest thing to find but you just need to sign up for their education community (free) with a .edu email address and you will be able to download free student versions of AutoCAD, inventor, 3dsmax, and all of their other software for free. This is why my car software of choice is inventor.

DeWayne Shorts np, it also seems that the email is not checked for any sort of affiliation with the university so I think faculty, staff, and alumni emails should work as well.
