G+_Glenn Hoeppner
I noticed the Super HD tag a few weeks ago when I was watching Arrested Development and Orange is the new Black. What I did not notice was any difference in quality.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Yeah I'm seeing a movie now the same quality

G+_Dave Botsch
Look at the netflix isp speed index. The results, even for Google fiber, were surprisingly pathetic.
G+_Rebecca Graves
Just logged into my Netflix profile & made sure to select "Best quality" for video. I'll be checking my PS3 tonight when I get home & seeing if anything is labelled Super HD!
G+_Jason Muffenbier
PS3 already had access to super HD anyways
G+_Jason Muffenbier
superhd is just 1080p. Their regular HD stream wasn't really HD. If you have good enough TV you can see the difference.
G+_Chris Mitchell
So you don't have to sign up for it or anything it just streams in 1080p?
G+_Glenn Hoeppner
Hmm, I have a 1080p TV (not a cheap one) and a Roku that can support 1080p and adequate bandwidth. Maybe if I could see the two,side-by-side, I'd see it, but I didn't know what the Super HD tag I was seeing meant until I saw this, post.
G+_Rebecca Graves
I always use my Xbox 360 for Netflix, just because initially the video quality looked loads better than my ps3. But maybe its improved in the last few years. I'll have to check it out & compare. BTW I checked tonight & tons of shows & movies are super HD.
