G+_Matthew Tasker
Hey Leo and iyaz, After watching your failed attempt to put a GTX 670 card in the Mac pro, I couldn't help myself giggling and I decided to explain why your card failed and also the easy solution. Basically it was the PCI-e power connectors. Gigabyte is the only manufacturer, that I know of, of the card that uses 6pin and 8pin power plugs. If you had gone with another brand like OMGChad's MSI GTX 670 Power edition card, you would have had a card with 2x6pins which would have worked in the Mac pro. Moral of the story is don't buy gigabyte cards with 8pin power plugs for the Mac pro. Love the show as always
