G+_Stan Keeley
Is there any good tools to test an ssd drive. I bought a Kingston ssd and have had it in my pc for about 3 months and now it's telling me it's reached its end of life but it can't be. I only use the pc to surf the Web and play itunes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
G+_Jason Marsh
This is either a strange case of infant mortality, or someone sold you a used-up drive as new. If you have a friend with SpinRite you can try that first, but I'd be on the manufacturer to RMA that drive before you discover that you're losing data. http://www.kingston.com/us/support

G+_Stan Keeley
Windows popup. Looked and the drive only had 16g free. Tried the Kingston toolbox utility but it does not see the ssd installed now I have to check the bios and which sata port it's connected to. The maybe can run error test. Any free programs to Repartition my second hdd and copy the ssd data and boot until I can figure out the problem with the ssd?

G+_Stan Keeley
Just watched episode 156 and you answered my question and wanted to give you an update. After talking to Kingston and getting their software to seethe drive they said the drive us faulty. When I loaded their toolbox software it didn't like the drive I was using for the drive so I had to change it then I was able to see the drive and test it. I sent them the log file and the RMA the drive with no questions. I will buy more Kingston drives because they were great.?
