G+_tptwk
Padre, In episode #121 the show notes said: "The FlySky T6 Transmitter + Receiver * Inexpensive * Realtively feature-filled * No diversity. No Satellite" Can I not use GPS (no satellite) on my quad with the FlySky T6? I am just planning my first build and I am trying to figure out what radio to use.I do want to use GPS features. Great series.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
GPS on a quad comes from a chipset and antenna ON THE QUAD... all you need is a free channel on your radio to trigger it. When you see "satellite" as a feature on a radio, it means that it has the ability to use satellite receivers to increase the chances that you'll keep signal. For example, I can have one at the front of the craft, and one at the rear, so no matter which way I'm pointing, I always have one that has a clear line-of-sight to my transmitter.
