G+_Robert Carlos
Would Time Warner lobby as an ally of Aereo "if it is found legal, we could conceivably use similar technology." That's exactly what the National Association of Broadcasters fears, because as it stands now, cable companies pay hefty fees to broadcasters for the right to resell content to their cable subscribers. If the cable companies shift to capturing free, over-the-air signals and delivering the content to their customers over the internet, broadcasters would lose a significant revenue stream. http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/2/4295054/time-warner-cable-ceo-could-copy-aereo-business
G+_Josh Frye
Sad thing is that this is Time Warner, a content owner/cable company, like Comcast they have the ability to make any Aereo clone a way to only push the content they own. Like the new Warner video service, something I will never use, for the simple fact I am not going to pay for having things like Warner's service, Hulu+ and god knows how many other services just so I can watch the content I want.
