G+_Mohsin Qazi
Am I the only one who feels that TWIET is more like TWIENT? (N for "Networking") I seem to rarely if ever see any stories about platforms, such as cloud providers, servers, virtualization, and storage. I know networking is Father's area of expertise (never thought I'd write those words), but enterprise tech is so much more. And it seems they are almost never covered. I admit I don't catch every episode, but as a server and virtualization guy, I'd like to see more in that area. And learn more about storage and cloud. Am I wrong? Have I missed the episodes in which this is discussed? Am I alone in wanting this?

G+_Tony Nolen
I get what you're saying. There were some early episodes about VMs and VDI. I think there have been some episodes about storage. Maybe it is time for those topics to be revisited. Maybe we need to get Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ to make the TWiET riot more social. I have been too busy lately to participate live in the chat room. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
I hear you... but it doesn't really bear out in the topics we've covered Here's sample of topics from the last 4 months: Net Neutrality SOHO NAS and Disaster Preparedness iBeacon Heartbleed Demonstration Cloud-Based Business Management Application Performance Managment ARIN Server SSD Managment DNSSec + NTP Amplification And here's a sample of topics from the next two months: Cloud-Space Collaboration Remote Collaboration Tools Data Breach Response Cisco ICS Power Managment We try to get a mix of topics, but sometimes we're bound by scheduling. There are some months of the year where none of our hardware guests can make it (we actually just had two cancellations) and some when cloud-based vendors are all busy at conferences. Not an excuse... but an explanation.
