G+_Josh Frye
Just listened to TWiet 76, and have one point to make with Brian Chee, the college I work at is actually moving everyone over to Windows 7. We have had a few things that didn't work, but our approach is more stick and dragging people over the Windows 7 line. I will say this though, much of our systems are net based, simply because we have so many desktops and extensions sites that we have to have things mandated a certain way. My Region alone has about 2,00 desktops and the next closest region has almost 6,000. And that is two regions out of twelve. But I will say that, just because this works in our infrastructure doesn't mean it will everyone else. And I do see his point as even though we are going to Windows 7 we are stuck having only certain plug ins, like one old version of Java.
