G+_Erik Ellsinger
Anyone got a tip for a good UPS monitoring software? I got this powerwalker UPS: http://www.amazon.co.uk/PowerWalker-1000-700W-Pure-Sine/dp/B00K2NR9BS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1430577015&sr=8-5&keywords=powerwalker But the Viewpower software Powerwalker offers really suck. http://www.amazon.co.uk/PowerWalker-1000-700W-Pure-Sine/dp/B00K2NR9BS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1430577015&sr=8-5&keywords=powerwalker
G+_Ben Tyger
What OS? I don't buy any UPS that isn't supported by NUT ( http://www.networkupstools.org/)
G+_Neil Sondhi
I am using PowerWalker UPS 2000 with no issues on FreeNAS, which OS are you trying to use?
G+_Erik Ellsinger
I have it connected with USB to a Windows 8.1 PC.
G+_Neil Sondhi
I played around with the ViewPower v2.13 on windows 10, its not bad and does the job though not the best UI.
G+_Erik Ellsinger
Viewpower seems to be kind of buggy also. After a while it just don't connect to my UPS and I have to uninstall and reinstall to make it work again.
G+_Neil Sondhi
you are right, strange why PowerWalker cannot solve this simple bug. I am using it on my freeNAS system via NUT and it works without any issues. but it is very buggy on windows and Mac OS 10.10 - they can be losing customers.
