G+_Erik Ellsinger
Can anyone recommend any good replacement landing legs for the KH250? Broke one of mine on the first flight.
G+_Eddie Foy
Not sure of the exact design. But Walmart sells $2 carbon fiber arrows. Very light and strong. Use a dremel and fiber reinforced cut off wheel.
G+_Larry Havenstein
You can also buy raw carbon fiber tubes off Amazon. I have used those for training landing gear on RC Helis. They come in longer lengths than the arrows. Not sure how prices compare. We use long tubes with ping pong balls on the end in an X configuration on RC Helicopters for testing and training to protect the rotors. Just wire tie them to the landing gear. G+_Eddie Foy
I still stand by my get-it-today $2 ~30 inch CF arrows. Can't see needing a 4 or 6 foot long landing gear.
G+_Larry Havenstein
You have to cut them down either way. I didn't think the arrows were that cheap. Will have to check that out. What we use is about 30 inches for each beam.
