G+_Stephen
Does anyone know how to speed up the export time in premiere pro cc. I was planning to have my video out by 11pm GMT but its showing 5 hours remaining. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
It's probably too late for your project, but here's a little hint that I'm going to show off on "Know How" in a few weeks. In Adobe Premiere, you will sometimes find that the render time is fantastically longer than you expect. I've found that 1/2 the time it's because Premiere is having trouble dealing with layers. Here's the scenario I often see: I have a timeline with 5 layers each of audio and video. There's NO blending other than the transitions (multiple camera setup). It's a 30 minute timeline and the render time is 8 hours. Now... I go though the timeline, slice at all my transitions points, then disable the layers that are not seen. Amazingly, my render time drops to 2 hours. It's a weird thing... the output is no different, but it has something to do with the way that Adobe's Mercury engine handles layers... even the ones that are not "seen". Go figure.
