G+_Eddie Foy
mechanical parts or art? I use SharkFX CAD. But a bit pricey and not that noob friendly (but CAD never is) SketchUp (freemium and easy. I think Google sold it off) AutoCad123? (something like that free and easy) I don't do art. For art stuff I just DL items from Thingiverse. G+_Eddie Foy
I'd also say its a good idea to learn scad (free, but like linux good feature set; parametric being a HUGE one, a bugger to learn) since a LOT of things on Thingiverse, IF they have a CAD file, will 96% of the time be an scad format. (now I wish i'd follow my own advice on that. but hard to use scad when you have a more proper CAD package)
G+_Gabriel Sigala
I just started using freecad. It's powerful and includes scad, python scripting, and of course is free. There's a ton of tutorials on YouTube
