G+_Brian Jones
Must admit I'm having geek thoughts, got £120+(UK) in Amazon vouchers, should I add a 5TB HD to my setup on top of the 2/3TB I already have? (A geek can NEVER have too much storage / backup, Especially as Win 10 Creators Edition is about to happen). TBH I'm thinking of using one drive as "on board" storage and the other as err, off-line storage. Added bonus, A lot more useful than buying myself an Easter Egg, or whatever... G+_Travis Hershberger
Do you have an external drive? It's not really a backup unless it's decoupled from the system. USB3 makes a much more bearable usage experience for external drives.
G+_Brian Jones
I do have an attached USB 3TB Seagate, but I was thinking of copying to the new drive and using the older unit as an offline backup, I need to re-expand the 3tb back to capacity after hitting the wrong drive letter when I expanded a Raspberry Pi SD Card one time and chopped a terrabyte off my original Seagate 3TB.
