G+_Kevin Wagner
Has anyone used a Tevo Tornado 3d printer. All the reviews I have read or seen have been. Just wanted to to see if anyone had real life experience. What did you like or not like about it? https://m.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d-printer-kits/pp_725104.html?currency=USD&vip=4264393&gclid=CjwKCAjwlIvXBRBjEiwATWAQIlhfsukjImr1VlvR7Ze-TbJYMlXn8VT0KRE5ekz2hSCv3xDNtZ2u9BoCQtYQAvD_BwE Thank you. https://m.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d-printer-kits/pp_725104.html?currency=USD&vip=4264393&gclid=CjwKCAjwlIvXBRBjEiwATWAQIlhfsukjImr1VlvR7Ze-TbJYMlXn8VT0KRE5ekz2hSCv3xDNtZ2u9BoCQtYQAvD_BwE
G+_David Peach
No experience with the Tevos or the CR-10. But they are similar machines as far as build volume. Creality (maker of the CR-10) was in some hot water a couple of weeks ago, but they ended up doing the right thing in my opinion. They still have a way to go to be a company that I would champion (they don't understand the idea of open source), but they are moving the right direction. Again, with no experience on these machines, I really like what I see about the Tornado and CR-10. But you need to remember that these are not $2500 appliances. You can't just push a button and expect them to turn out perfect prints every time. You have to be willing to fiddle with the hardware and learn the nuances of the software settings to get good prints.
