G+_Harold Crews
Getting a little bored with my Verizon skin on the Razr Maxx phone. Any suggestions for a launch for a none power user? Something not too hard on the battery.
G+_Nick Webster
Nova Launcher is good.
G+_Harold Crews
Leo has mentioned that he uses Nova. And I've looked at that at the Play store. But more input is good. I also have a Nexus 7 and may end up installing a launcher on it to have a uniform experience on both devices.
G+_Nick Webster
Harold Crews Nova is pretty much stock with added features. Great if you can't get stock android but want it.
G+_Harold Crews
Launchers are easily removed or changed aren't they?
G+_Nick Webster
Harold Crews Yup. One button to uninstall and back to normal. Just a word of warning: when you first add a widget it will give you a security warning, that's normal and it's absolutely safe.
G+_Cameron McDermott
Another slim stock launcher is Holo Launcher HD. Its very clean, versitle and quite customisable launcher and the options menu is easy to navigate. :) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobint.hololauncher.hd
G+_Michael A
I vote Nova. I use it on my Note 2 and N7. Works great!
G+_Harold Crews
I've installed Nova and have been playing with it this morning. So far the biggest difference is more room since the app icons are smaller and the transition from one screen to the next. What are your favorite features? I have the free version and not the prime. I'll play with it a while before committing to prime.
G+_Cass Morrison
I like Apex, it is very similar to Nova. I find the free version of most launchers are frequently customizable e enough for most users.

G+_Harold Crews
I tried Go Launcher but found it too different from what I'm used to. It does appear to be the most popular launcher.
G+_Nick Webster
Harold Crews Go launcher was okay on gingerbread but anyone who installs it 4.0+ will be missing out.

G+_Fred Schmitthammer
Nick Webster why is Go Launcher not the way to go on 4.0+?
G+_Robert Carlos
Nova Prime is great, simple to use, customizable gesture controls.
G+_Ed Reilly
I like the gestures in Nova Launcher, as well as the look. I run it on my S3 and Nexus 7. I have an up-swipe give me the task manager. That beats long pressing the physical hoke button. I also use sidebar. Between that an Nova Launcher, I'm happy.
