G+_Benjy Szucs
Does anyone feel that the world of podcasting/netcasting is shifting towards a more "professional" (as if it wasn't professional already) model? It seems that much like website advertising, podcasts are either attracting big name sponsors or they are not, and the ones that are not are losing talent to the ones that are. G+_Josef Wesselak
Seem like a natural progression But if there's a nich that can be filled by an engaging personality it likely to attract a sizeable audience , & thus sponsors and or crafty self sponsors selling product to support there podcast . IE .... Joe Rogan Experience (onnit.com & higher primate.com John c Devorac podcast ( No Agenda.com That just outright ask for money to run a add free podcast with no outside bias . G+_Simon Zerafa
Seems like a good move to me. Some of the more "amateur" are great but it all depends basically on content. If the content is there; interesting and engaging and serves it's audience then it should do well. Presentation is also important; video seems like a growing area and gets "podcasts" in fount of the TV audience to replace the generally poor output from traditional media. G+_Eric Lawrence
I wonder whether the tsunami of amateur video will drown out the quality podcasters that simply don't have the money to market themselves above the hubris.
