G+_Keith Freeman
I've been looking into building a car pc. I've been looking at Sirius XM SXV300V1 device to see if I could build an interface to it. Has anyone seen or heard anything about interfacing to Sirius XM radios?
G+_Steve C
You can Google it and find info about that. They used to interface XM radios 10 years or so ago, back in the 2000's, when car pc's were the hot thing but nobody does it anymore since your car radio running Android can do everything the car pc's used to do years ago, including interfacing with XM! G+_Jason Perry
There are pinouts, I have looked it up years ago. From there it is just creativity. If you end up doing anything with it I would be interested in details.
G+_Steve C
If I remember correctly they just have a serial port so if you have the right kind of cable and drivers you can connect it to a PC. The MP3car.com website from 2006 has some information on that. Of course you could just use an XM unit like the XMPC1000 that has USB output to solve the problem. They used to be for sale but that was years ago and I don't know if they are still available. What are you putting it in, a DeLorian that's powered by a Flux Capacitor? http://www.mp3car.com/the-faq-emporium/67625-faq-how-to-add-sirius-satellite-recevier-to-your-car-pc.html
G+_Ben Reese
Looks like Steve C? already beat me to it, but have you heard of MP3Car.com? Their forums probably have everything you need to make this work.
