G+_610GARAGE
I was doing some work in the back of my rack thinking, yikes, I gotta clean up this writing. After seeing that picture, my rack doesn't look so bad. :)

G+_Arthur Lauri
I have seen many of those when i use to install cable. Some of that mess is caused by installation techs, most of it is caused by techs trying to repair damage caused by people trying to steel cable. G+_Midwest Concert Video
This is what happens when any project is: A: Worked on by a large number of people. B: Nobody feels the slightest concern for anyone else who will work on it in the future. C: Everyone is paid as little as possible - i.e. "They don't pay me enough to care" In software, it results in "spaghetti code", and in the real world, just plain spaghetti as seen here. Nobody will get any credit for being the one guy who will tidy it up, and will probably get in trouble for wasting time.
G+_Jason Perry
Midwest Concert Video so true. Doesn't matter how much people get paid though. I work with all kinds of people who get paid more than enough but are still guilty of "I don't get paid enough."
G+_Midwest Concert Video
Sure, but cable installers are paid by the job - they only make a decent living if they do a quick, slapdash job, and do as many as possible in a single day. It's designed for failure.
