G+_Jason Perry
So before I rummage through my garage, I have automotive contact cleaner, is there any reason it isnt suitable to use on my cordless phone. I left it outside abd there is some corrosion on the board.
G+_Eddie Foy
So you opened it up? It should. Test on a safe spot. just spray it into a cap and use a q-tip. I'd avoid getting it on plastic, if cosmetics matter to you. The screen I'd avoid at all costs no matter what you use (in reason) Basic rubbing alcohol and tooth brush can work
G+_Jason Perry
Thanks Eddie Foy, I wasnt going to give it a chance buy my wife mistook it for another one of our handsets and threw it in the charger. The inital charge your phone for 7h text came up so something started working in there. I may just try the rubbing alcohol I am worried the contact cleaner will be too corrosive for the surface mount parts.
