G+_Jason Perry
Well things get buried fast around here. I think I can remember reading something in a reply to a comment that would help me out, but can I find it, no. I am looking for a way of interacting with multiple vlans without loosing the benefits of vlans. For instance my cameras are on their own vlan wireless devices on another and wired devices on another. What is the best way for me to run a NVR on my vlan for wired equipment and view camera live on my vlan for wireless equipment?
G+_Travis Hershberger
You'll have to change your router settings. Basically add a route from the camera vlan to the NVR ip address. If you give us the make/model of the router your using someone can probably tell you exactly how to do that.
G+_Jason Perry
Currently it is a dlink managed switch with an ipfire box but I am looking to switch to a pfsense box to allow for the additional vlan for the cameras.
