G+_Jason Marsh
It's obvious by the nondescript packaging, those will go into wifi pwning robot quads. Here's hoping they don't decide to attack their own network.
G+_Jason Perry
Lee Ball to tell you the truth the list is a long one and, well, its getting longer. I think I will try Eddie Foy's so I have a better footing before I try Jason Marsh' s. To start my plans are simple, get things running, that might be easier said than done with the ZigBee radios, I am a little intimidated by their size and lack of pins now that I have them. To start the one will more than likely just be a web server to advertise my goals with the rest. And well as I accomplish those goals I will just jave to get more hardware. G+_Eddie Foy
I have yet to try the APOI/Mesh mode of the xbee/zigbees. point to point mode is pretty straight forward.
G+_Jason Perry
So here is my question Eddie Foy , I wasn't paying close enough attention when I bought my radios now I have two radios that look like this. How do I connect to a board without pins? With 0.8mm pads spaced 1mm apart I am assuming it is either meant to be surface mounted or put in an adapter? http://canada.newark.com/productimages/large/en_US/5165381.jpg
G+_Eddie Foy
can just solder wires to the pads (carefully) then run them to your PI. a little hot glue as a strain relief. Just get some double female leads and cut them in half. easy-peasy ....sorta. (I got blocked from seeing the pic, probably the them blocking VPNs)
