Edward Armstrong, my wife left it on top of our vehicle. When I accelerated to 90 km/h we heard a thunk. When she asked what that sound was I told her maybe she left her phone on the roof again. I was promptly told that wasn't funny. When we got home the find my phone app told me her phone was right where we heard the thunk. Lucky me got to go find it in the dark.

It still worked, she could make calls through the Bluetooth in the car, you could hear the notifications going off, just no screen.

As for was it hard, the answer is no but attaching the cables took some patience.

Jason Marsh, I am on your side, I am not an apple person; but, at the same time I wouldn't want to put up with my wife having an android phone. I can here it now, this thing isn't working again. A locked down phone with a fixed non customizable interface is what some people need.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sort of...

I want to bring my wife into the 21st century, but she won't let go of her old candybar phone.

Her iPod touch didn't look that bad after falling on gravel from the top of the grandstands at Indy. It's got a little dent on one side and a tiny chip in the glass. A $5 bumper did wonders. Was the phone in any kind of bumper or case when it went for a ride?
