G+_Jason Perry
Anyone have Insight into the world of making cheats for games. In particular I am interested in pulling the value of a variable in a game and displaying it on another screen.
G+_Ben Reese
There are some generic "trainers" that used to work pretty well. You'd search for the current value then change it and search again... After a few tries, it gets narrowed down to a single pointer that you can update in the trainer. That was probably 10+ years ago that I tried one last, so I'm sure devs have checks to keep that from happening now.
G+_Jason Perry
Not horribly worried about changing the values, I am thinking of tearing apart a keyboard and making some sort of custom input device. Or at least that is the thought in my head right now.
G+_Ben Reese
Oh, nice. That's a whole different spin from what I was thinking. It seems like I've heard of an Arduino used as a keyboard input... Sounds like a fun project.
G+_Jason Perry
It should be a blast. I am just brainstorming and doing research before I jump in. I know there are tools out there I just dont know what ones are crap or a pain to use. Looking up videos as well. Its funny I dont think building something to enhance a simulator is illegal but I dont think I could do it without the tools to make cheats.
