G+_Jason Perry
Just got the TP-Link Archer C7 for my parents! So far I like it. The only thing is I want to set up a DDNS and the options are VERY limited. Can anyone confirm if any on the open source firmware's support freeDNS? G+_Eddie Foy
Don't think there is much to it. Just put in your freeDNS creds, and if there is an option, update frequency. I haven't used freeDNS, but doubt its much different then DynDNS.
G+_Jason Perry
With the stock firmware on the router there is a drop down menu with DynDNS, NoIP, and one other. If there is a way of manually adding another I haven't found it yet. I'll have to look next time I am over at there house.
G+_Ben Reese
If nothing else, there should also be a Windows client.
G+_Eddie Foy
Might be able to if you can get a root shell. Typically telnet/ssh into it with the admin creds. and poke around in /etc would be my first spot. Then /usr/ Probably just a text file or two to re-cajigger.
