G+_Rud Dog
Lets hope the policy changes, when purchasing my first two tivos, years ago also purchased the lifetime-service avoiding the monthly payments. Fast forward to purchasing two new Tivo boxes was told the lifetime-service was not transferrable. Had to purchase lifetime-service again. Dam hate I love my Tivo so much. Now with upgrade to a newer box on the horizon I am reluctant to do so based on their greed for another 2 lifetime-services. Which Tivo will undoubtedly require. So extra sauce on the crossed fingers for a policy change.
G+_Vick Khera
They do explain well that lifetime is of the device, not the owner. Unless you expect to have the vice more than 5 years, it makes more sense to buy the annual plan.
G+_Rud Dog
Vick Khera not contesting the agreement just how long time customers are treated not to mention those that supported R&D. Enough said.
