G+_Dennis A. Deschamps (Dr
A few questions: Can I use my own device or must I get a new one, how does the service work if I want to switch over from another carrier that I am with to Project Fi and all about service in the US and overseas? G+_David Pick
Dennis A. Deschamps My understanding. Google Fi only works with phones sold directly sold by Google. But, I strongly recommend you read the questions answered section on their sight. https://fi.google.com/about/faq/ So yes,you would need to buy a new phone if you considered to switch. G+_David Pick
Dennis A. Deschamps Project Fi has been on my radar since March. I currently still own and use an HTC 816 with Virgin Mobile. I don't want a bigger phone that an Nexus 6P would be.And an Nexus 5x would be allot of compromises for myself if I chose that phone to try Google Fi. There has been a rumor that HTC will manufacture an Nexus phone compatible with Project Fi.I'm not afraid of cell phone coverage as Virgin Mobile is dependent on Sprint Network. So the main thing holding me back from switching is lack of choice in phones.I obviously can't wait forever. But I'm hoping some kind of hardware announcement is made by this September. G+_Dennis A. Deschamps (Dr
David Pick Bummer ? I have a Moto G and like the phone. Is there not another way to BYOD to Project FI? Oh by the way, is Project FI GSM or CDMA because I have AT&T, have service since 2003 and am very happy.
