That's gutsy. Lots of opportunities to improve the software, but I have the feeling nobody cares more about getting the code than the bad guys.

Ben Reese If nothing else, they get a better security review than any company could possibly pay for.

 

Edit: Hopefully it's disclosed, or caught by their other security measures before anything gets loose.

Whats even more gutsy, is that they wrote their own. Not going with the norm SAP, Oracle , and whatever IBM is offering (used to be JD Edwards I believe)

I'm not surprised they wrote their own. Largest retailer in America (second to Amazon?)... I probably wouldn't trust that entirely to a 3rd party.
