G+_Dan Phillips
I'm watching the Facebook live feed. Am I missing something or did they just make a custom lock screen that is really no different than the ones already in the play sore?

G+_Damian Mongru
I'm not sure if FB Home will catch on, but it seems a clever and rational app to produce. Lots (LOTS) of people use FB all the time. It's good for Facebook if they unify the things users use the most not just in Facebook, but whatever they use their smartphones for e.g. texting/messaging all in the messenger app, phonecalls - you can do that in the messenger app too, photos: they own Instagram etc etc. Users are happy as they can easily get to 'sharing and communicating', and Facebook are happy as people live in their app - and helps retention of users. This may show the way for other companies with many services (Microsoft / Google etc) to bundle them together, and ensure they get to you before you use any other part of your phone - smart. Are people annoyed by what was shown, or just because it was Facebook. I mean if it was a Google+ screen, would that make a difference? I'm surprised the handset manufacturers are on board with this. They general thought was that the manufacturer's custom launchers were there to distinguish between them, and this does just the opposite. Have I missed somthing concerning security - is the order: Turn On --> Unlock --> FB Home?
