G+_David Wiggins
As a PC/net geek, I still think Ham folks are way more hardcore. Sheesh, the exam for the license requires memorized Morse code. Add to that the hardware investment just to start. I could go on, but food. G+_Jeff Gros
According to my EE coworker (who has his ham license), morse code for ham is no longer a requirement. Still pretty cool though, although I would think removing the morse code requirement defeats the purpose!

G+_Jeff Gros
I just love that camera near the top of the picture. It says to me "Hey! I'm watching you! You better not take anything!". LOL.

G+_Hyrum Smith
Uh Oh. Mainframe Systems Programmer, a ham for 40+ years, build my own desktop computers, a devout Security Now fan, first job was as an auto mechanic, kids think I can fix anything, and a "maker" since I was a kid. I come from a long line of geeks and have several (not all) of my kids who are geeks as well. So to answer the question, YES!!
