G+_Jason Perry
Does anyone have experience with any temperature monitors? Sick of listening if I know how warm the kids are. TempTraq looks a little pricy. Looking at reviews right now https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s//ref=mw_dp_a_s?ie=UTF8&k=TempTraq
G+_Rud Dog
Wait Jason, you aren't planning on in-bedding these in the children? " Sick of listening if I know how warm the kids are. "
G+_Ben Reese
Not half bad. Let me know how your experiment goes. I've got 3 more to try it on.
G+_Ben Reese
Actually... I just clicked the link. I was tempted to add it to a wishlist, but I'm worried my wife (pediatric RN) would find it and buy 10. In fact... Now I need to go remove it from my Amazon browsing history. G+_Jason Perry
The TempTraq looks like a waste of money. $20 for a one time use device good for 24hrs. Some of the other ones look promising, more expensive but reusable.
G+_Jason Perry
Good thing my wife that works in a NICU. Doesn't go anywhere near Amazon
G+_David Wiggins
I wonder how accurate a remote thermometer mounted in a crib, carrier, or playpen would be? The carrier would be easier, since it would be a relatively stationary target. The others would likely need ptz. Sorry, I think I went pop fly to left field again. Still, I can see products like that in the future.
G+_Jason Perry
So far the most promising one looks like the infant tech smarttemp. $70 the adhesive is good for 24hrs. But I am still looking and reading. It isn't too easy to find info.
