And you're sure it's not your side? (I'm guessing you're taking about the video stream. I stream the audio and it's pretty solid)

I don't think this is on my end. I have a 60 mb speed, and I only have problems with TWiT.

The speed of your line has nothing to do with it. You could own a Ferrari but that doesn't mean you can drive it 100kmh if there is a traffic jam on the highway. 

 

The best advise I can give is for you try a different stream or run a trace route to determine where the bottleneck is.

I don't think it's on my end. I just switched over to the Bitgravity stream, and everything is OK. Justin and Ustream are still messed up.

George Kozi for what its worth, when I stream TWiT in XBMC those are the streams I usually have issues with.

I wish someone would have the guts to break Flash's neck in one go... and not do this "death by 1000 cuts" thing... It takes too long to get rid of it, and I suspect that these problems are somehow related to that rusty, leaky bucket called Flash.

I've been having problems the past two weeks myself.  I now have to use either Bitgravity 400 or Justin.tv at 240p and even that stops and stalls.  Audio alone is fine and I don't have problems streaming from other sources.  Doesn't seem to matter where I'm watching, my Mac, iPad or iPhone, it's all pretty bad now.

People in the UStream forums are complaining about video stream issues such as these. It may not be a widespread problem, but people are still complaining.

For the past two weeks in Oz, same issue as others and driving me nuts! Streaming on iPad 4 via the TWiT App is suddenly horrible (has worked faultlessly since it was released here). Since using this App I haven't bothered with downloading shows through iTunes, but looks like I may have to revert to that! :( Does anyone know what's happening?

I stream archived shows with the Roku without issues. As far as live content i don't know where the Roku app gets it's stream from.. but it might be worth a try.

Both Justin and Ustream are bbroken beyond repair. We baled from both - complete waste of money.

I couldn't get anything for very long the last couple of times I've tried the live feed, either. This doesn't matter to me though, really. I'd just as soon watch the relatively stable YouTube or downloaded recordings without all the pre-show nose powdering and what-not. I like to be able fast forward now and then, too.

Agreed, I think it's back to downloading the shows for me. Everything I've tried over the past couple of days/weeks, with the streaming, hasn't worked. Something has obviously gone wrong, but such is life.
