G+_Mathis Sneed
Thanks for the great Calendar apps suggestions. I have installed the Google Calendar app on my Galaxy S3, which is nice to have the same app on both S3 and Nexus 7. Only problem is that now I'm getting two calendar notifications. Can anybody tell me how to disable the built-in calendar app or its notifications? Thanks for the help.

G+_Don McDonald
I use a different calendar app and disabled the notification in the default S3 Calendar App. In the Calendar App Settings, Set alerts & notifications to off.

G+_Don McDonald
Both the Calendar and my 3rd party app show up as Cached Process. I'm not sure if these types of processes use battery life but since they are not Running there should be no CPU time used.
