G+_George Kozi
How come a group of tech people who own and work at a Podcast Network, and have Teck in their bones, can't fix the problem with streaming shows from their website? I thought that viewers playing back the TWiT shows was the bread and butter of the company... And yet, the full screen - switch tabs bug is still there... after ALL this time! G+_Neil Sedlak
Alright, I'll bite. What bug?
G+_George Kozi
when you are streaming shows from the site and you are exiting full screen, or switching tabs, the show starts downloading from the beginning. > :/
G+_Joe Coxon
Gotta admit, that is pretty annoying!
G+_Neil Sedlak
Interesting. It doesn't do that for me. Are you sure you don't have a setting or extension that auto-reloads tabs when they gain focus? Does it do it in other browsers?
G+_George Kozi
not that I know of, and it happens only on the TWiT site. So That tells me it's on their side.
G+_George Magdaleno
Are you all using Windows? I have had no problems on Chrome, Safari or Firefox on my Macs and Samsung TV with Apple TV.

G+_Neil Sedlak
I tried the current release version of Chrome on Windows 8, as well as Chrome, Firefox and IE on Windows 7. Still no issues. Signs still point to your system. Close everything, then open an Incognito Window with a few extra tabs and see if it still happens.
G+_George Kozi
well, then there's a whole bunch of us with this issue. It's a long standing one too.
G+_Joe Sears
I've viewed TWiT numerous times on my Mac and regularly switch between full screen and embedded modes. I've never seen this happen on either Chrome or Safari browsers. I've also not seen it when switching tabs.
G+_George Kozi
it was the same on my old computer...
G+_Neil Sedlak
I guess I should have known better than to try and help, given the tone of the original message. Issues without clearly reproducible conditions are not easy to fix. I wish you luck!
