G+_Phillip Adcock
Does anyone know how to remove a bad driver from windows 7? I was trying to install the ati driver for my gateway notebook, the one from the manufacturer. During the install windows went awry and shut down, now it will load through to the windows start screen, then crashes, trying running start up repair but says windows can not fix automatically and states that it's a bad driver or update. Please help if you can this is my only computer and I will need it when I return to school.
G+_Carina Freeman
Does it give you the option of going into safe mode?
G+_Phillip Adcock
It did one but I've not had it do it again. Probably because it hasn't been a crash shut or anything it's been restarts or shut downs

G+_Michael Kerr
Press F8 during boot. Select safe mode and then uninstall driver and restart. Once you boot to windows normally, do a restart for good measure before installing the new driver.
