So I have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I was at the part on building my KH250 where I need to set the ESC, when I plugged the battery in it made a popping sound and then nothing happened. I decided to check the voltage and everything with my voltmeter and find out that in my 3 cell lipo one cell is now completely missing and it shows 0 charge total but but each individual cell has a charge. I don't know what i did, not sure if the battery was just defective or I screwed up somewhere with the soldering or connection (all the power wires are going to their respective color coded opposite) please help!!!

Two possibilities come to mind - either yes, you had a bad battery or, yes, you somehow have a short in your soldering.

Was this the first time applying power? The first thing I would check is for a short - set your multi-meter for resistance/continuity mode and touch the leads to the battery terminals of your quad - if the multimeter shows no resistance then you've got a short.
