G+_Nathan Sikita
so I was working on finishing up my KH250 quad when I came upon a snag, when I connect a battery or usb to my flight controller at level the blue light won't appear, but if I tilt it in any other direction it starts flashing like it so. Also when I try to attach it to my computer and run it with MultiWii it doesn't give me the option to connect. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to get a new flight controller? G+_Steve Prior
I'd say disconnect the Flip from everything else and only plug it in via USB and see if you can connect, that will tell you if your wiring is messing up something.
G+_nn tt
Here is a link to all the info you will need to get it going. Read all of it. http://www.readytoflyquads.com/the-rtf-wiki Here is the outline of what you can do Make sure the driver is install Connect the FC to computer Check your hardware in Windows to make sure it is showing up correctly Make sure to run v2.3 of your multiwii software of choice. V2.2 will corrupt your settings on the FC when you write setting out. You should follow all the steps before flying. The min max and center values on your transmitter must be set correctly for your FC to work. Have fun.
G+_Nathan Sikita
Steve Prior I did do that and my FC still won't connect to the MultiWii program or the computer in general

G+_Steve Prior
When you plug into the computer do you see an extra serial port in device manager? What operating system is your computer running?

G+_Nathan Sikita
this is the problem I'm having, I did look and saw that the drivers won't install and need a fix maybe
G+_Steve Prior
My instinct is saying device driver issue. In device manager do you have any unidentified devices showing up when the Flip is connected? The Flip wiki page says to use the 32 bit version even if you are running Windows 64bit (which you probably are if you're running Windows 7). But this has to be my last guess of the night.
