G+_Barry Brown
Thanks to the quad-building episodes, I got the confidence to move up from toys (Hubsan, Syma) to a kit. I bought the FPV250 kit that was featured on the show. My question is: what's a good way to attach the feet to the frame? I have tried CA, plastic epoxy, and hot glue. Nothing sticks. According to the frame description, it is made from nylon and there's nothing much that will stick to nylon. What have you found that works? G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Congrats on moving up! -- You're gonna love it. :) I'm going to show you my method for sticking the legs on Thursday's KH. (Hint: it involves CA and zip ties.)
G+_Rob Yesta
I use high test fishing line from corner to corner thorough middle brace of feet. It allows the feet to break loose in hard landing but still attached to quad. When I get better at flying, I will just remove them. Right now I like to little protection from battery directly hitting ground.
