G+_William Deboer
Just started getting in to arduino. this is my first project. Im using a ESP8266 NodeMCU board with Blynk service to control a strip of 29 leds in a ring around the back of my Star Wars clock. Once powered on, the esp8266 connects to my wifi. the sketch then receives the rgb and brightness values through the app from my phone. Similar to the show that had the 4 pots controlling the pixel stick of 8. right now the esp is in a small breadboard and using jumpers to make all the connections. This keeps the clock from hanging flat on the wall but once I have a more finished design I will condense the wiring and eliminate the breadboard and jumpers. later on i hope to at some light fx but for now it makes an awesome night/accent light.
