The only problem is E is on it's way out the door for voltage. Also, the types of people who don't know a mnemonic for power yet will probably never see potential denoted with an E instead of a V. I'm a senior year electrical engineering major, and the only mention of E for potential through four years of instruction has been literally as a footnote in the first month of my basic circuits class from my first year.

It is a very cute mnemonic though!
