G+_Phorest Sherwood
I could use a little troubleshooting on the FPV250 kit build. I am through the entire process as detailed in the video, and everything works until I try and spin the motors. The KK shows the input. But the system will not arm. Any suggestions are welcome. I did go back though the entire process to be sure I did not miss a step. Thanks in advance!!
G+_Michael Heinz
I had this problem. Make sure your receiver cables are plugged into the correct channels on the KK or it won't arm even though the receiver test appears to work.
G+_Phorest Sherwood
Hanks Michael, I will try that this evening!
G+_Michael Heinz
For me, the problem was I was counting channels from the bottom to top on the KK board instead of counting from top to bottom.
G+_Phorest Sherwood
I was following Padres video pretty closely, but it sounds like I may have done the same thing. Wish me luck!
G+_Michael Heinz
Roger - one other thing, I don't think the video mentioned this but I had to walk through several more configuration steps on the KK to get it to armed. Steps included specifying the motor lay out, calibrating the level sensors and so on. The KK reference manual has a step-by-step guide: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/861944502X1166223X15.pdf

G+_Phorest Sherwood
Awesome! I had the wires reversed on the receiver and what I will put them back where they should be it armed perfectly. Thanks to everyone for all their help!

G+_Michael Heinz
You're ahead of me! Mine got off the ground briefly, then a pilot error resulted in a broken prop - still waiting on the extras I had ordered.
G+_Phorest Sherwood
I had a close call. The self leveling is a good thing, I'm turning mine back on.
G+_Michael Heinz
Yes, yes it is. I need to figure out how to make that default to "on".
