G+_Zero Data
I am very disappointed in the service from paul Baxter? . I've been trying to get a response from him since Feb 21 about a gimbal controller I purchased from ReadyToFlyQuads. As soon as I enabled the motors in the controller software two FETs smoked. Before contacting him I tested the gimbal. After no response I tried another gimbal controller. It worked as expected, although of cheaper quality. I had hoped to get a replacement as the 32bit controller I purchased from him is what I wanted. At this point I apparently have no choice but to purchase a third controller from another vendor. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Sorry to hear that. I purchase parts from a dozen different vendors and Paul has always been at the top of the list in terms of reliability. I've pinged him about the issue. G+_Zero Data
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ I've bought numerous items from him and own a flip quad. That is the main reason I originally purchased from him. This goes on my Tarot X8 used to carry a Sony NEX.
G+_Brent Burzycki
I will be the first to say if you are trying to contact anyone privately here on g+ it usually ends with neither party getting properly notified...
G+_Zero Data
Brent Burzycki? I sent email to the address listed on the site and from my order. I sent email to the address that I have had interaction with him before. I tried a message on his Facebook page. Social Media was my last choice as I know how much a reputation means in business. ? G+_Brent Burzycki
That's a bummer.... My rule for work emails is get back in some way to all emails daily.... Someone could make a killing here on quality quad parts with good customer service just from those of us interested in these projects..
G+_Zero Data
Brent Burzycki I have 5 rigs, ranging from 250mm to 1050mm. I buy a lot of parts and only a few vendors have been very responsive and reliable.
G+_Brent Burzycki
Sadly I think in many cases this is normal.... As in customer service is dead.... I only know a few companies that do not fully suck at customer service... Which is very sad.. But also means that if done right a new company can fill the niche.. G+_Philipp
He's a busy guy running a one man shop. That's how he can keep prices low.
G+_Zero Data
Philipp Z yes but even so I would not think it would take almost a month to respond to email. Last time I had interaction with him it was less than a week for a response.
G+_Brent Burzycki
If you are going to be in business... Be in business I always say... I run 3 different companies and answer email and customer concerns daily for each and I believe my customers if they spend money with me are entitled to that or at least a real answer even if it's not what they want to hear... That said who knows the details.. Maybe he is out of commission and not talking to anyone..
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
He is most definitely in-commission. Just before I left for Orlando, I got a bunch of parts I ordered a few days ago.
