Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ you talked about how good the Razor Blade Stealth is. I was thinking about this vs. building a new gaming rig. I like the option to be portable. Do you think this will work well as desktop by adding monitor, keyboard, and mouse?

 

Any suggestion on storage size? Will 128gb work for just gaming? I know adding external hard drive for storage will work for videos and pictures.

A 128GB drive is only going to be able to load a single high-end game on it anymore (40-50GB for the OS and another 50-60GB for each game.)  It would work, but bigger ones are available for not much more money.  I'm currently running a 480GB Samsung 845 DC EVO (think of it as a more reliable 840 EVO.)  Picked it up at Micro Center for $140, which is a steal compared to similar products (server grade.)

Travis Hershberger I agree. I recently replaced a 256gb SSD with a Samsung EVO 850 at 1TB. This allowed me to put several of my favorite games on the SSD instead of the internal 2TB magnetic HDD.

I remember the old days of flipping 5 1/4" floppies, and customized config.sys and autoexec.bat files to eek out enough space in that 640k to actually run said game.  Times have changed, generally for the better.
