Hi Alex Martinez. I just wrote up my steps for setting up OpenVPN on my Synology NAS. I mention the basic setup Synology does natively. And then I went further and setup OpenVPN using certificates instead of just ID and password. Hope this helps you.

kurterst I haven't read through all of your post, and I'm not interested in setting up VPN on the Synology box, but I wanted to say thank you for doing such a detailed write up. I set up my office VPN through pfSense and I helped a friend get his going. Having detailed instructions like yours are what helps us get things working.

 

I know that took more than a couple of hours to document and format. Thank you for doing the work so others can benefit.
