G+_George Kozi
Isn't this a company that not so long ago was seen by experts as "circling the drain" and done for? lol... (they said the same about Microsoft , didn't they). http://www.cnet.com/news/sony-beats-nintendo-in-console-sales-for-first-time-in-eight-years-report-says/
G+_Damian Mongru
One of the reasons Sony are doing so well is because of the mess Microsoft made with the Xbox announcements. In line with the new Microsoft, however, they do seem to be reacting a lot quicker and taking the necessary remedial action. Although, Nintendo are doing very poorly at the moment, so to beat them in sales is not the high point it once was. It even says in the article that Sony still expects to lose $489 million this year. As for Microsoft's demise, I think people think it is the same bad old Microsoft from ten or fifteen years ago. Personally, I think they are producing exciting, interesting even innovative tech at the moment. I do think there is a kind of implicit bias towards Microsoft (Windows in particular). The only way out is to produce exciting products and hope for the best.
