G+_52Degrees
I've been kicking around an idea for a bit... something of a one-off quadcopter. Ever hear of Kaman helicopters? I'm thinking 4 rotors instead of 2, though. All driven by a single belt, controlled collectively with swash plates on each rotor so the transmission can be run as a constant velocity type. Oh, and the rotors would all have negative dihedral and full interference, just to make things interesting. Anyone want to bet it can't be done? G+_52Degrees
Sort of... I hadn't heard of the Stingray 500 until just after I had posted this. My intention is to have 4 interesting rotors, though.
G+_52Degrees
I flew my quad upside-down once. Parts are on order. Lol.
