G+_George Kozi
This is not a usual post in this community. It is about something quite far removed from the usual subjects discussed here. However, something tells me that the people here will find this interesting. This is about the future, about how we live, and how we build. G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Some make me think of castles, some of forts, and that last one looked like an office complex. I love architecture. ?

G+_Dave Trautman
I was looking for the drawbridge on some of them. These are the ultimate "gated communities" and look considerably better than much of the developments I see around here. I wonder, seeing how much water there is, how close to sea level they are and whether a small rise would swamp those areas. I realize this sea level question is a constant reality for the Netherlands, but I can't help wondering about those moats.
G+_George Kozi
Dave Trautman water is never far away in The Netherlands. It never was, so people around here learned how to keep it at bay. More that than, we are starting to build floating neighborhoods. This is a site that deals with that one: http://www.archdaily.com/120238/floating-houses-in-ijburg-architectenbureau-marlies-rohmer/
